First days in Spain!!!

So I have now been in Spain for two days and it's so beautiful! It's weird thinking that I am living here for the next three months. I am so excited to start classes tomorrow! It'll give me something to do during the day besides sit in my house. Yesterday we just did a bunch of orientation stuff and walked around the city a couple of times and then my house mom brought me to La Plaza Mayor (which basically the center of the city and is so pretty!) and bought me some tapas and water one of them was paella which is basically rice with vegetables and stuff, but this stuff had calamari in it and it was really gross! That's basically all we did yesterday, but today we went to La Plaza Mayor again and from there Ric took us on a walk around the outside of Segovia. Segovia has part of the city within walls and there are a couple of entrances to the walled part but the rest of it is outside of the walls. It looked completely different than the walled portion of Segovia because it has a ton of trees and a river going almost all the way around. It seems like two cities that are in two different countries, but they are just separated by a wall. We also bought phones today and the carrier is called Movistar. After that me, Ali, Allison, Sara, Brit, and Eryn went to a cafe and talked for a while.. thats basically my day today.

Tomorrow I start classes and I am so excited! They are only 30 minutes long because it's just orientation so that should be nice! Cause we get the whole afternoon to do whatever we want!

My lovely family decided to do my first blog for me.

So I leave tomorrow and I am so excited to get to Spain and take tons of pictures! I know I am gonna miss everyone a ton and I can't wait to tell you all stories of my adventures in Europe.
